(S)VP, Medical Affairs

In collaboration with executive leadership, the (S)VP, Medical Affairs defines the Medical Affairs cross-functional strategy for clinical stage assets, develops and refines Medical Affairs (MA) plans, policies and procedures, builds a best-in-class team, and sets annual goals while maintaining excellence in standards and practices. The SVP of Medical Affairs will be MapLight’s first medical affairs hire and as such will build MapLight’s medical affairs capability and team as the organization grows.

Manager, Clinical Business Operations

MapLight is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager, Clinical Business Operations.  Reporting to the Executive Director, Clinical Operations, the Manager will be responsible for supporting all aspects of clinical business operations, including vendor selection, contracts, budget management and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will streamline operational procedures across multiple projects to improve timelines and organization of data.

Lead Clinical Research Associate​

Reporting to the Director, Monitoring Strategy and Execution, the Lead Clinical Research Associate will oversee an assigned MapLight study monitoring team to ensure monitoring quality and excellence in line with MapLight’s Mission, Vision, and Values. This role will maintain site management and monitoring responsibilities for assigned sites in addition to study team level work.

Office Manager / Executive Assistant

We are seeking a talented and experienced Office Manager / Executive Assistant to manage day-to-day office operations, support senior executives and liaise with vendors and clients in our Redwood City office. The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities. This position requires great attention to detail, organization, professionalism, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff, and visitors.

Accounting Manager

MapLight is looking for a skilled and resourceful Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced FP&A team.  Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Manager’s primary responsibilities include ensuring an accurate and timely month-end close. This includes recording journal entries, reconciling accounts and preparing a monthly reporting package.

Senior Clinical Trial Associate

The Senior Clinical Trial Associate (Sr. CTA) is required to help support Clinical Operations and project teams. The position offers much responsibility and the opportunity to be involved in all phases of the clinical project. The position requires adaptability and the capacity to ‘own’ tasks, problem solve and to see activities through to their end. 

Director, Clinical Development

The Director, Clinical Development, will be a highly qualified and motivated individual who will serve on cross-functional teams to further the development of MapLight compounds for CNS disorders.  This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Clinical Development, and will be an important member of cross-functional development teams, responsible for medical monitoring of clinical studies across the portfolio.

Senior Manager, eTMF

Reporting to the Director, Monitoring Strategy and Execution, you will be an integral contributor to MapLight’s Trial Master File (TMF) quality, compliance, and inspection readiness program. You will co-own MapLight’s internal eTMF system and support its management, access, maintenance, and oversight. 

Payroll Manager

MapLight is looking for a proactive and energetic individual to join the company’s fast-paced and collaborative Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Payroll Manager will be responsible for all aspects of payroll operations; ensuring payroll, payroll taxes, audits and reporting are accurate, complete, timely and managed effectively. 

Senior Scientist, Formulation Development

We are seeking a motivated and talented Senior Scientist to join the formulation development group in the CMC department.  Reporting to the Director of Formulation Development, the desired candidate will manage drug product development activities in collaboration with external CDMOs for MapLight’s pipeline programs. 

IT Manager

This Role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and break/fix troubleshooting of end-user platforms and various laboratory computer systems. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the buildout and use of back-end IT administration systems (MDM, RMM, SEIM/SOC).
