We are looking for a dynamic scientist to help build our Clinical Pharmacology/DMPK group and who is interested in working with driven and committed colleagues in a culture of skill, efficiency and directness to help move forward exciting new drug candidates to make a real difference for unmet medical needs in the area of neuroscience and psychiatry.

Director/Sr. Director Project Management

MapLight Therapeutics is looking for a Project Manager to help drive the development of our early-stage assets as we plan for NDA filings. This position is a critical team member of the development team and will be required to work across functional departments of the project team to provide a cohesive development plan. Reporting to the VP of Clinical Operations, this position will have the opportunity to build a Project Management team as the company grows.

Senior Clinical Trial Assistant

MapLight is seeking a collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated person to join our clinical trials team as the Senior Clinical Trial Assistant within the Clinical Operations Team. Under the guidance of Operational Leaders, Clinical Leaders, and Clinical Trial Managers, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for completeness of documents managed in the TMF
  • Coordinating materials for internal and external meetings, including requests for materials from external consultants, suppliers, etc.
  • Assisting in the planning, organizing and execution of study-specific meetings and develop/maintain study specific trackers

Director of Human Resources

We are searching for a highly motivated Director of Human Resources.  Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the desired candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the Human Resources vision and priorities with support of the executive leadership team.  The candidate will develop and administer MapLight’s people strategy, identification and implementation of an HRIS, performance management, onboarding / off boarding, payroll and ensure organizational compliance with regulatory requirements.  The candidate should be prepared to prioritize and perform key day-to-day deliverables.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small team and have a significant impact in addressing unmet patient needs by advancing MapLight’s novel pipeline.

Scientist – Optogenetics and Behavioral Pharmacology

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist with expertise in optogenetics and behavioral neuroscience who will become a key contributor to our discovery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small team and translate knowledge about brain circuitry into transformative therapies.

Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant’s primary responsibilities include ensuring an accurate and timely month-end close. This includes recording journal entries, reconciling accounts and preparing a monthly reporting package. The Senior Accountant will be a key contributor to the financial statement audit and report to the Accounting Manager. MapLight is a small, high-growth private company. The team is structured for fluidity in role responsibilities; making this a great opportunity to gain experience with complex accounting issues, while also mastering the ins and out of our accounting and reporting processes.

Research Associate

The position requires rodent handling, dosing, behavioral characterization and stereotaxic surgery as well as excellent communication and organizational skills in order to effectively drive a significant and complex workload.
